p.m.
2. All entries must be in the name of the person who actually
did the work.
3. Only first place winners will be judged for Best of the Show.
1. All entries must be entered during the entry time.
2. All entries must be original artwork.
3. Items cannot have been exhibited previously in the West
Tennessee State Fair.
4. The committee and the chairman reserve the right to refuse
any item that they consider unsuitable. (No nudes, violence or
obscenity.)
5. All artwork must be framed and wired for hanging. No saw
tooth hangers will be accepted. No hanging supplies will be
provided. (If you have doubts about your hanging hardware
contact the department chairman prior to entry date.)
6. Maximum size of artwork including frame is 48 inches in any
direction.
7. There are two divisions - Amateur and Professional.
8. Best of Show rosettes will be awarded in both amateur and
professional.
9. Amateur is open to anyone 16 years old and up, unless one
qualifies as a professional.
10. Professional is for those who teach for pay or earn at least
10% of their personal income from art sales.
11. To encourage more professional involvement, the awards in
the Professional Art Division are as follows: First Place, Blue
Ribbon - $10.00; Second Place, Red Ribbon - $8.00; Third Place -
White Ribbon - $6.00. Best of Show, Rosette - $25.00.
