Got a favorite main dish, salad, dessert or casserole your family begs you to prepare? There are four categories: main dish crock-pot; Harvest Salad; five (5) ingredients, (only five (5) ingredients with the exception of salt & pepper); and 'Slice of Harvest' (something that can be sliced i.e. cake, pie, cookie, etc.)
Prize money in each category: 1st place - $25.00 and 2nd place - $15.00
Guidelines for entry:
1. Bring your main dish ready to serve.
2. Only one entry per person in each category.
3. Recipe must accompany each entry, typed or legibly printed on
an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper (2 copies)
4. On back of recipe include contestant’s name, address and
phone number.
5. The Fair Association reserves the right to publish recipes.
6. After judging, the audience will be allowed to sample
entries.
7. Judging will be based on 50% taste, 35% appearance, and 15%
presentation.
