Talent at the West TN State Fair

YOUTH TALENT CONTEST
6:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010

RULES
1. Contest will be held in the Main Exhibit Hall at the Fairgrounds
YOUTH TALENT (CONTINUED)
2. Categories include the following:
Vocal Solo - Male or Female Dance Solo
Vocal Group Dance Group Instrumental Solo Variety
3. Prizes include the following:
Grand Talent Award (first place) - $50.00 and trophy
Second Place - $25.00 and trophy
Third Place - $15.00 and trophy
4. Age limits are 13 through 21 years old, inclusive. Must be at least 13 and no older than 21 by September 16, 2010.
5. The entry fee for each act will be $25.00. This includes entry to the fair for the act and one accompanist.
6. Sound system and piano will be provided. Music must be on cassette tapes or CD.
7. Mid-South Fair Youth Contest rules and guidelines will be followed. A Mid-South Fair representative will be present to invite the Grand Talent Winner and any other act he/she chooses to participate in the Mid-South Fair.
8. It is recommended that no act run longer than three (3) minutes, and under no circumstance, more than 4 minutes. Any act running over 4 minutes will be disqualified.

10. Deadline for entering the Talent Contest will be noon on Friday, September 17, 2010.

JUNIOR TALENT CONTEST
6:30 p.m., Friday, September 17, 2010

RULES
1. Contest will be held in the Main Exhibit Building at the Fairgrounds Park on 6:30 p.m. , September 17, 2010. Contestants must check in 5:45 p.m.-6:15 p.m.
2. Categories include the following:
Vocal Solo - Female Dance Solo - Female Vocal Solo - Male Dance Solo - Male
Vocal Group Dance Group
Instrumental Solo Variety
3. Prizes include the following:
Grand Talent Award (first place) - $50.00 and trophy
Second Place - $25.00 and trophy
Third Place - $15.00 and trophy
4. Age limits are 9 through 12 years old, inclusive. Must be at least 9 and no older than 12 by September 16, 2010.

2. Categories include the following:
Vocal Solo - Female Dance Solo - Female Vocal Solo - Male Dance Solo - Male
Vocal Group Dance Group
Instrumental Solo Variety
3. Prizes include the following:
Grand Talent Award (first place) - $50.00 and trophy
Second Place - $25.00 and trophy

least 3 and no older than 8 by September 19, 2010.
