Market lambs must be on the grounds by 3:00PM, Friday September 13, 2024

Rules

Entry fees will be accepted upon arrival and must be paid prior to showtime.
Entry fees will be $5.00 per animal.
Lambs must be accompanied by an official certificate of veterinary inspection.
Only Junior Exhibitors will be allowed to enter. Lambs must be owned by the exhibitor prior to August 1, 2024.
An exhibitor may show no more than 4 lambs in the show.
All lambs must have lamb teeth and must be a wether or a ewe lamb.
There will be no minimum or maximum weight to be eligible for the show.
Lambs will be weighed and divided into classes by weight. There will be no more than 10 animals in a class.
Three showmanship classes will be offered: Junior, Junior High, and Senior.
Bedding will be furnished.

4th - $12

Grand Champion - $35
Reserve Grand Champion $25

Meat Goat Show

Rules

Entry fees will be accepted upon arrival and must be paid prior to showtime.
Entry fees will be $5.00 per animal.
All animals must be in compliance with TN scrapie rules. All slaughter and market animals must have a permanent scrapie tag in their ear. Each animal must have a permanent ID in addition to the scrapie tag (ear tag, tattoo, no tags on collars.)
All market animals must have all milk teeth in place at weigh-in or they will not show.
You must show in either the Market show or the Doe show, not both.
Market animals will be weighed and divided into classes based on that weight.

Market Classes to be determined by weight

Registration papers are required on all registered animals.
No bucks allowed on grounds.
There are no pens so be prepared to tie your goats during the show.
Bedding will be furnished.

Reserve Grand Champion
A Supreme Champion will be awarded overall

**An exception to the above classifications of sheep may be made when an exhibitor wishes to enter a younger animal in the next older age classification. In no case will an older animal be entered in a younger age classification than its date of birth would permit.**
